Gala for the Arts 2024
Hickory Playground’s first Gala for the Arts since 2019 was held at Fanjoy-Labrenz Art Studio in downtown Hickory on February 17th, 2024.
Hickory Playground volunteers were thrilled to see artists from around the area display their incredible original work and generosity. All sales were split between artists and Hickory Playground, with 70% of sales supporting the artist and 30% supporting Hickory Playground’s mission to raise financial support for arts education in public schools in Catawba County, North Carolina.
