I am a musician and writer from Hickory, North Carolina. I just graduated from Appalachian State with two degrees in public relations and journalism with a minor in Appalachian Studies. Much of my writing and music have strong ties to place, Appalachia specifically.

This piece deals with an unhealthy obsession of fear and death.
